How much does a dental checkup & cleaning cost in Winfield?
In the U.S., the average cost of a dental checkup and teeth cleaning is between $200 and $350. However, there are several factors that will determine the price you pay. For example, do you have dental insurance? Do you need X-rays taken? Are there any special offers you can take advantage of? That’s why it’s always a good idea to reach out to your dental team directly instead of just looking at general price ranges. You’ll get an accurate estimate and learn all of the applicable financial information, including what options are available outside of dental insurance, so you have all of the information you need.
What do you do if you can't afford a dentist?
All too often, we hear stories about patients going months or years without the dental care they need because they are worried about the cost. To prevent that from happening here, we offer three financial solutions: dental insurance, flexible financing with CareCredit, and periodic specials. We know that navigating the ins and outs of each can be overwhelming at first, which is why our friendly, experienced, and welcoming team will also review the details with you and answer any questions that come up along the way.
How do I get emergency dental care?
Oftentimes, patients don’t consider what to do if they sustain a dental injury until they find themselves in that situation. The good news is that – whether you have slightly chipped a tooth or completely knocked out one – you can call Dr. Parsons for help. Our office is open five days a week, and we offer morning, lunchtime, and evening hours as well.
Note: If you are struggling to breathe, you’re bleeding uncontrollably, or you’re experiencing another potentially life-threatening symptom, you should go to the ER or call 911.
What level of education is required to be a dentist?
Becoming a dentist is no easy feat. In addition to earning an undergraduate degree, the aspiring dentist needs to complete three years of rigorous in-classroom and hands-on training to earn their dental doctorate. To maintain their license and stay up to date on the latest techniques and technology, they also need to pursue continuing education courses each year. In other words, they don’t just need to complete 7+ years of college; they need to commit to life-long training as well.
How can I make a same-day appointment with a dentist?
Do you have a chipped, cracked, or otherwise damaged tooth? Are you dealing with abnormal dental symptoms, like persistent dental sensitivity? If so, you should call us ASAP to schedule an emergency exam. You’re also welcome to get in touch with us if you have a last-minute opening in your schedule and want to schedule a routine checkup or meet with Dr. Parsons to discuss a specialty treatment, like veneers – we’d be happy to take a look at our schedule and see if we can see you that day!
